Back Yard Ultra Wirral….what a blast!
What an amazing weekend of human endurance, friendship and coffee, lots of coffee!! 4 miles on the hour every hour and last man standing won! The atmosphere around the camp was fantastic and totally electric when the 3 minute bell rang getting the runners back ready for the next loop. Totally infectious fun!
It was a privilege to be there supporting my gym Prime Health and Fitness - huge congratulations to the amazing Melanie Rowland, Sarah Swan and Kev who totally smashed it, it was amazing being there supporting them. I absolutely love my gym, I love its running family that puts themselves out to crew for one another - Prime Health and Fitness has it down to a fine art!! Well done Pete, you are truly inspirational!
Special mention goes to Ayrton who was finally crowned the winner this evening after 142 miles of running! His pace was consistent and he made it look so easy!
